The pupils have been very energetic recently as they participated in the British Heart Foundation’s “Skipathon”.
Our enthusiastic skippers set their skipping ropes alight with their speed and agility. The donations received for their incredible efforts are mounting up fast. The British Heart Foundation funds some of the best research into heart and circulatory disease. Donations might go towards supporting a PhD student at University or a collaboration between a top British Heart Foundation Professor and a research institute. The funds overall support the fight against and new treatments for heart and circulatory disease and Laxton Junior pupils have played a part in helping this excellent work continue.
