Our approach

Sport is an essential part of our curriculum. We pride ourselves on ensuring that all children have the opportunity to achieve their best in a variety of competitive sports as well as to become physically confident in a way that supports a healthy and active lifestyle. Through a variety of sports we ensure each opportunity:

Builds Confidence, Resilience and Character

Develops Teamwork, Leadership, Decision Making and Tactical Understanding

Promotes Physical and Mental Wellbeing

Encourages lifelong fitness habits and participation in sport

We aim for all our children to:

Develop a lasting love of sport.

Have the opportunity to learn play and complete in all sports.

Receive the right challenge and support in lesson, clubs and fixtures.

Are well-prepared for the sport offered at their senior school.

Are competitive at the highest level.

We have our own talented teaching staff of sports specialists who work with all our children from all year groups. We are also fortunate in being part of Oundle School and therefore having access to numerous sports professionals and coaches who take a keen interest in the sporting development of our pupils.
