Earlier this week, our pupils celebrated World Maths Day and enjoyed a whole day of Maths. The children loved participating is a vast selection of activities, taking place in a variety of learning environments including; the garden, the swimming pool, the library and the computer room.

The pupils thoroughly enjoyed working collaboratively to solve problems that challenged the most mathematical minds!

Embracing Maths within so many contexts helped the children to appreciate how this area of learning is ever present in their lives.

Teacher and Head of Maths, Mrs Henderson commented, “It was wonderful to see the obvious enjoyment and engagement of each child without pre-conceived ideas or inhibitions.”
