The governing body of Oundle School consists of seventeen members, including eight Governors nominated by the Court of the Worshipful Company of Grocers. Laxton Junior School has a sub-committee within this, who are fully involved in the strategic direction and development of the School.

Mr Ringrose is a Chartered Accountant with an investment banking and property background. He was Master of the Worshipful Company of Grocers (2008-09) and is an Old Oundelian.

Sir Charles Bowman holds an ex officio membership of the Governing Body in his capacity as Master of the Grocers’ Company. Sir Charles is a Chartered Accountant, holding a senior partner position, and is an Alderman and former Mayor of the City of London.
Finance
Mr Campbell-Johnston holds an ex officio membership of the Governing Body in his capacity as Third Warden of the Grocers’ Company. He is a partner of Sarasin & Partners LLP, an investment management firm, and has 30 years' experience in this profession.

Mr Chippington is Head of St John’s College School, Cambridge and has a distinguished career in education. He has been Chairman of the Choir Schools’ Association and continues on the Committee as Treasurer. Mr Chippington is also a Governor of Park Street Church of England Primary School, Cambridge.

Mr Chisenhale-Marsh holds an ex officio membership of the Governing Body in his capacity as Second Warden of the Grocers’ Company. He enjoyed a distinguished career in the wine trade before diversifying into farming, venue event management and construction opportunities.

Mr Coleridge is in his second period as a Governor, after his ex officio membership ended at the end of his term as Master of the Grocers’ Company (2021-22).

Mrs D’Oyly’s background is in finance and education, and runs a private tutoring business, working primarily with individuals who have additional learning needs. She was appointed to the Family Bench of the 'Cambridgeshire magistracy' in May 2021. Mrs D’Oyly is a former parent.

Mr Tyler is the Group Company Secretary of Porvair plc, an international manufacturer of specialist filtration, laboratory and environmental technology products. He was Group Finance Director of Porvair plc from 2004 to 2021 and had previously held a number of senior financial positions at Cable & Wireless. He is a Chartered Accountant and former parent.

Mr Whitmore's background is in property development. He is in his third period as a Governor, after his ex officio membership ended at the end of his term as Master of the Grocers’ Company and having completed a three-year term as Governor.
