We are delighted to launch our brand‑new LJS Easter Egg Trail 2026, welcoming all families with young children to enjoy a fun and free activity around the beautiful Georgian streets of Oundle. Running from Saturday 21st March to Sunday 12th April, the trail offers the perfect Easter holiday adventure for families looking to get out and explore the town.
This is the first year we have run an Easter Egg Trail for our LJS community and we are thrilled to see it come to life. Families are invited to follow the downloadable map and set off in search of our colourful Easter Egg posters displayed at various numbered points around Oundle. Each poster contains a hidden letter- simply jot these down as you go.
Once all the letters have been found, families can rearrange them to reveal a well‑known Oundle landmark, where an Easter activity pack (designed for children aged 3 to 11) will be waiting to collect.
All of the Easter Eggs featured on the trail have been beautifully designed by children in our wrap‑around care, Griffin Club, making the event even more special and personal to our school community.
We hope everyone taking part enjoys exploring the trail, solving the puzzle and celebrating the season together.
