The majority of our children begin their journey with us in Reception at the age of four, quickly becoming part of our vibrant and nurturing school community. Occasionally, spaces do become available in Years 1, 2 and 3, offering children the opportunity to join us from other schools and settle into life at LJS.
Where spaces are available, children can join us in Years 4, 5 or 6 as part of our Prep stage. During this important phase, pupils are encouraged to grow in independence and confidence, taking greater ownership of their learning through our Subject Specialist Teaching approach. This allows children to benefit from expert teaching across a range of subjects, helping to nurture curiosity, deepen understanding and inspire a love of learning.
