Our Year 3 and 4 pupils made a fantastic splash at this term’s House Swimming Gala, held in our impressive 50m pool. The event was a wonderful showcase of teamwork, determination, and swimming talent, with all houses competing in a friendly but energetic atmosphere.

The gala began with a series of heats, where swimmers competed for a coveted place in the finals. The fastest swimmers progressed to the finals, where the excitement really built. Spectators enthusiastically cheered on their houses, creating a vibrant and supportive atmosphere poolside. The finalists rose to the occasion, delivering some outstanding performances and demonstrating excellent sportsmanship.Swimmers competed across three strokes: freestyle, breaststroke and backstroke. Each race highlighted the skills and progress pupils have developed through their weekly lessons at school, and it was fantastic to see such confidence and determination on display.

A special mention goes to Harrison, who delivered an exceptional performance by breaking the existing school records from 2022 across all three strokes: a truly remarkable achievement.

Above all, the gala was a celebration of participation, house spirit and encouragement. Well done to all pupils who took part and contributed to such a successful and memorable event.
