Our Reception children recently enjoyed their very first school trip, visiting the beautiful Sacrewell Farm for a day full of learning, discovery and adventure.
From the moment they arrived, the children were excited to explore the farm and meet some of its many animal residents. They enjoyed seeing sheep, goats, llamas and pigs up close, learning about how the animals are cared for and the important role farms play in providing food and looking after the countryside.

The trip also provided plenty of opportunities for outdoor exploration. The children loved walking around the farm, observing the changing seasons and spotting signs of autumn in the natural surroundings. Educational visits such as this help to bring classroom learning to life and encourage children’s understanding of the world around them.
We are incredibly proud of how well the children represented the school on their first trip. It was a memorable experience for all involved and a fantastic way to begin their journey of educational adventures.
A huge thank you to the staff and volunteers at Sacrewell Farm for making the day so enjoyable. We know the children will be talking about their favourite animals and experiences for many weeks to come!
