We are delighted to share some fantastic news about the generous support from Friends of LJS, who have successfully raised funds to provide exciting new equipment for our pupils.

Thanks to their hard work and fundraising efforts, we now have a new wellbeing hut designed to support calm, comfort and connection. This quiet, cosy space offers children a place for peaceful reading, relaxed conversations with friends, and moments of calm when they need time to recharge.

 

 

Alongside this, new physical activity equipment has been installed, including chin‑up bars and a traversing wall, encouraging pupils to stay active, build strength and enjoy movement in a fun and engaging way. For our budding performers and creatives, a stage with a blackboard backdrop has also been added, providing an inspiring space for imaginative play, storytelling, drama and artistic expression. Our construction zone now includes some large wooden blocks and dowels, to support the children’s learning through play.

 

 

These wonderful additions complement our existing equipment beautifully and help us continue to support pupils’ wellbeing, creativity and physical development.
