Our Reception children delighted parents today with an amazing all-singing, all-dancing performance of Jack and the Beanstalk.
The children performed brilliantly, confidently taking to the stage to tell the much-loved story through songs, dancing and acting. From the towering beanstalk to the fearsome giant, every moment was filled with enthusiasm, energy and smiles.
Drama at LJS develops year on year, giving children the opportunity to grow in confidence, creativity and performance skills throughout their school journey. These first experiences on stage are just the beginning, with all of our pupils eventually going on to perform in the Stahl Theatre, our very own theatre space.
Parents were incredibly proud as the children showcased their confidence, teamwork and enthusiasm. The performance was the result of lots of hard work and practice, and the children rose to the occasion wonderfully.
A huge well done to all of our Reception stars for putting on such a memorable show, and special thanks to the Reception team of staff for all their hard work, support and dedication in helping the children shine on stage.
