These exceptional outcomes reflect not only the musical ability of our pupils but also their commitment to regular practice, focus and a genuine love of performing.
Our pupils were examined across a wide range of instruments, showcasing the breadth of musical opportunity at Laxton Junior School. Performances included singing, cello, French horn, saxophone, violin and piano, with children demonstrating confidence, musicality and impressive technical skill.
We are also delighted to announce that our Trinity Champion Centre accreditation has been extended, recognising the consistent quality of our music provision, the strength of our teaching and the vibrant culture of music that thrives within our school community.
A huge thank you goes to Miss Haynes, Head of Music, for her exceptional leadership, passion and encouragement. Her ability to inspire and nurture our musicians each day plays a significant role in their success. We also extend our gratitude to all our dedicated visiting music teachers, whose guidance and expertise support our pupils to achieve at the highest level.
Most importantly, congratulations to every pupil who took part in the exams. Your hard work, courage and enthusiasm shine through in everything you do, and we are incredibly proud of your accomplishments.
Well done, LJS musicians keep playing, keep practising, and keep letting your music fill our school with joy!
