Laxton Junior School is delighted to celebrate the impressive achievement of pre-Prep pupil Margo in Year 3, who recently represented the school at the Spratton Hall Equestrian Competition, finishing in a commendable 5th place.

Taking part in the event as one of the youngest competitors, Margo showed tremendous confidence, focus and determination in a highly competitive field. The competition was open to children up to Year 8, making her result particularly impressive given her age. Riding with calm control and clear enjoyment, she demonstrated strong riding skills and a level of dedication that comes from both hard work and a genuine passion for equestrian sport.

Competing while proudly representing Laxton Junior School, Margo embraced the challenge with maturity beyond her years. Her performance reflected not only her personal commitment to riding but also the values of perseverance, sportsmanship and courage that are encouraged throughout our Pre‑Prep  community.

Events such as the Spratton Hall Equestrian Competition provide pupils with valuable opportunities to develop confidence, resilience and independence beyond the classroom, as well as the chance to represent their school in a supportive yet competitive environment.

We are incredibly proud of Margo’s achievement and the positive way she represented Laxton Junior School. We hope this experience marks the first of many enjoyable and successful competitions for her in the years ahead.

Well done, Margo!
