We are incredibly proud of Harrison, who enjoyed a fantastic weekend of swimming success at the West Norfolk Swimming Club Gala in King’s Lynn.
Competing in his first licensed swimming gala, Harrison rose to the challenge superbly, winning an outstanding four Gold Medals across the 50m events. This marked an exciting milestone for him, as it was his first opportunity to race at the longer 50m distance in a competitive setting.
Alongside his medal success, Harrison achieved four personal best times and broke three club records for his age category, a remarkable achievement. He was particularly pleased to reach two personal goals on the night: breaking the one‑minute barrier in breaststroke and the forty‑second mark in freestyle.
Beyond his own races, Harrison showed great sportsmanship throughout the evening, enthusiastically cheering on his teammates from poolside and supporting them between events.
Thanks to his impressive performances, Harrison’s results now place him among the top 25 swimmers nationally for his age this season on the Swim England rankings.
We are delighted to celebrate Harrison’s dedication, determination and success. Well done, Harrison, a fantastic achievement and one the whole school is very proud of.
