Pastoral » House System
The School has four Houses: Lilford, Burghley, Gloucester and Whitmore. Every child is assigned to a House on entry to the school. Siblings will always be members of the same House, thus promoting loyalty to a House within families. The House system at Laxton Junior School provides opportunities for discussion about the personal, health and social issues that are part of everyday school life.
House points are awarded for good work or behaviour and the healthy competition this generates creates a feeling of belonging and pride.
