Pupils are assessed upon entry and, thereafter, at the end of each term. They are tested on the work that has been covered during that term and their progress is recorded and monitored by their Form Tutor and the Director of Curriculum. The children also take the NFER tests in English and mathematics every year; the results of these tests help us to ensure that any areas in need of attention are highlighted and dealt with swiftly.

Our Learning Support department has an exceptional reputation. Pupils who require any support in any curriculum area are guaranteed help for as long as they need it. We have various programmes specially designed to help children who may have specific educational needs as well as a highly qualified and committed team.
